When I was young, I was taught that "when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth". Falsehood's refuge is in the things no one ever thinks to question.

...I've been coming back to the recurring thought lately that perhaps my upbringing was not...good. But for better or for worse, it was mine, and if that upbringing is what enabled me to believe in you, then I can't bring myself to regret it.
