That's...remarkably clever, actually. "Lens Flair". It even sounds like the sort of upscale place you'd find in the high-end district of a city somewhere.

And it suggests photography, which is the best part. I like that it has a nod to your talent built into it.

Now we plan the opening, I think. Securing some artwork to show, first off. Then getting the word out so that people will turn up. Maybe we should have an event of some kind, like some sort of fundraiser, or an auction...?

I don't think this is the sort of thing that would benefit from a quiet opening of the doors. We need to come out with a bang, and draw notice.

so i'm thinking that we use your charm, ofc
and poll the network on this thing
to see who wants to donate some of their art to the opening
photography, digital art, paintings, whatever they want
then obv like any gallery (???) people can buy prints of the stuff that's hanging

and like maybe for the opening
everyone who shows up gets a portrait taken
and hung up in the gallery~? so like you show up
and your admission is letting me take your picture at the front
and then you can go inside and see stuff free of charge

and that way we can like
have a good start...for that exhibit

it could have an open bar, that'd draw people in
and like, either there's a super fancy dress code so ppl can have fun looking nice
OR there's a super funky dress code, like... beach wear or something, you know
or like masks, or costumes, or something fun

maybe the event is like...... we paint a symbol on everybody's hand when they go in
and they have to find their match, among all the other people there
and then the two of them get some small kinda prize
we can have like a set number of symbols so that like, you can win multiple times
and so that it's easy to find someone
???

I know a few artists, actually. I think an open call is a good idea, and I'll try to leverage those existing relationships to secure a few contributors as well.

I would suggest a masquerade, but I suppose that would defeat the purpose of having your picture taken, wouldn't it? Unless we put them in a secluded booth for the picture, and then let them replace their mask before exiting it, to preserve their secret identity.

How do you have so many good ideas? I'm a little jealous.
